Kristen began her professional fitness career in 1998 when she was working full-time as a pastry chef at the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco. She completed her Madd Dog Spinning certification and began teaching indoor cycling classes at Gorilla Sports on Chestnut Street. Within a few short months, Kristen met her husband, Mark, who was a participant in her Spinning classes.
After becoming disenchanted with the high-volume production kitchen, very long hours, and working every weekend and holiday, Kristen decided to complete her personal trainer certification with the American Council on Exercise in 1999. She immediately realized she found her passion. Kristen enjoyed working one-on-one with clients and helping them to work towards their health and wellness goals. Kristen continued her fitness professional education with additional certifications and continuing education courses in Pilates (reformer & mat-based), yoga, balance ball, BOSU, strength training, functional training, prenatal and postpartum training, pelvic core and diastasis recti training. In 2008, she completed her group fitness certification through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.
Kristen created MOMLETA after the birth of her daughter, Madison, in 2001 and began expanding her program nationwide through franchising. Kristen has authored dozens of training manuals for fitness professionals and she is a continuing education provider for the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
Kristen is accepting a limited number of personal training clients. If you are interested in learning more about her remote or in-person services, please complete the inquiry form below.
